Senior Director of Design at Vanta

The role

As the Senior Director of Design for Governance and Compliance, you will lead the design strategy for Vantas largest product pillar. You will oversee a team of design leaders to transition manual compliance workflows into sophisticated AI-driven agentic experiences.

What you'll do

• Lead the agentic direction for the Governance and Compliance product pillar.
• Maintain high design quality and consistency across all platform surfaces.
• Design complex systems for enterprise configurations and multi-entity audits.
• Integrate AI tools into the design team internal prototyping workflows.
• Manage and develop a team of design directors and senior contributors.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to co-own strategic outcomes.

What you'll bring

• Experience shipping agentic or AI-forward products in B2B SaaS.
• Proven track record leading design teams of twelve or more people.
• Deep expertise in systems thinking and complex enterprise architectures.
• Hands-on proficiency using AI tools for prototyping and building.
• Portfolio demonstrating simplified complex products and shipped AI experiences.
