Role Overview

Vanta is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead the Activation team within the Self-Serve group. You will define the end-to-end experience vision to help customers achieve security compliance in days rather than months using AI-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the end-to-end experience vision for customer activation and onboarding
• Drive the product roadmap alongside product management and engineering partners
• Design agent-first experiences and reusable AI patterns for the platform
• Define and track activation outcomes through data-driven experimentation and iteration
• Lead cross-functional customer discovery and document long-term product strategies
• Mentor other designers and raise the bar for visual and interaction craft

Requirements Snapshot

• Eight or more years of experience designing high-quality B2B SaaS products
• Proven track record of driving business outcomes like activation and retention
• Experience designing AI-powered products or complex automation-heavy workflows
• Fluency with product analytics, experimentation, and data-centric design approaches
• Strong written strategy skills and experience leading large cross-functional initiatives
