Senior Designer RTW at Mulberry

The role

The Senior RTW Designer leads the design and development of Women’s Ready-to-Wear collections under the guidance of the Design Director. This role involves taking ownership of projects from initial research and concept development through to sampling, fittings, and production handover.

What you'll do

• Conduct extensive research into silhouettes, fabrics, and trends to evolve the collection.
• Design cohesive and commercially relevant RTW collections that reflect the Mulberry aesthetic.
• Develop ideas three-dimensionally through draping, toile development, and collaboration with pattern cutters.
• Create accurate technical drawings, CADs, and specifications for the atelier and suppliers.
• Lead fit meetings and provide technically accurate feedback to ensure garment quality.
• Mentor the Junior RTW Designer to improve their technical accuracy and professional confidence.

What you'll bring

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline with a strong portfolio.
• Proven experience designing RTW collections from concept to production at a luxury level.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, and fabric behavior.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and CAD software for technical sketching.
• Strong communication skills and experience mentoring junior design team members.
