Junior RTW Designer at Mulberry

The role

As a Junior RTW Designer at Mulberry, you will work with the design team to develop women’s ready-to-wear collections. You will focus on research, design, and development to create progressive designs that align with the brand's aesthetic.

What you'll do

• Conduct research to identify new and progressive designs for the collection
• Develop new designs by experimenting with various ideas techniques and materials
• Complete accurate specification sheets for suppliers and production teams
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure prototypes and samples arrive for deadlines
• Produce accurate sketches and CADs for target costings and production
• Integrate sustainable design principles throughout the entire design process

What you'll bring

• Appropriate degree supported by a strong design portfolio
• Experience in a similar position within the fashion industry
• Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and RTW categories
• Proficiency in producing and maintaining CADs and technical sketches
• Ability to prioritize a demanding workload in a busy studio environment

Your impact

The Junior RTW Designer will help push the collection to be as luxurious and innovative as possible while maintaining the core Mulberry aesthetic. Their work will directly support the brand's B Corp commitments and the Made to Last strategy through sustainable design and efficient production coordination.
