The role

This 3D Illustrator and Animator role at Stripe Brand Studio focuses on defining and evolving the company visual identity through high-quality illustration systems. You will create photo-realistic 3D compositions and motion graphics that tell editorial stories across various digital and physical surfaces. The position requires a blend of creative vision, technical modeling skills, and strategic collaboration to maintain brand consistency at scale.

What you'll do

• Develop and establish illustration and motion styles across the Stripe brand ecosystem
• Create photo-realistic 3D compositions for editorial stories and advertising surfaces
• Influence brand expression through the development of guidelines and systems
• Oversee the quality and consistency of 3D work from product to campaigns
• Manage external creative teams in strategy, execution, and production
• Experiment with AI tools to build beautiful things and improve design processes

What you'll bring

• Six or more years of design and art direction experience for technical companies
• Proven excellence in building and extending 3D illustration systems
• Strong track record of using and building AI tools for creative work
• Ability to communicate brand concepts through graphics, motion, and video
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and external agencies
