User Researcher at Roblox

The role

As a User Researcher on the Platform and Foundation Design team, you will generate actionable insights to shape the tools used by players, creators, and builders. You will conduct mixed-methods research to solve complex problems and ensure user needs inform high-priority platform decisions.

What you'll do

• Execute end-to-end mixed-methods research projects for Foundation UI and tools
• Conduct foundational research to uncover user pain points and mental models
• Facilitate research discussions with cross-functional stakeholders to inform product roadmaps
• Combine qualitative insights with behavioral data in partnership with Data Science teams
• Evolve research processes to foster a culture of inclusion and innovation
• Present research findings and strategic implications to Product Group leadership

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of professional experience in UX or product research
• Degree in HCI, psychology, or a related social science field
• Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Experience with software vendors like Qualtrics and database analysis using SQL
• Strong ability to communicate research findings through verbal and visual means
