Senior Manager, Design, AMERS at NSCALE

The role

The Senior Design Manager owns the end-to-end design of data center projects, leading architecture and engineering teams from initial engagement through construction. This hands-on role serves as the single point of accountability for delivering coordinated design packages and managing permitting milestones.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture and engineering teams through all project phases from design to turnover
• Develop and manage project design schedules to support procurement and construction starts
• Procure and manage contracts for AE firms and specialist consultants
• Coordinate requirements across internal stakeholders including construction operations and IT
• Oversee the project permitting strategy and ensure all regulatory approvals are secured
• Provide construction administration support by resolving field issues and managing RFIs

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of experience in design management or architecture and engineering
• Proven experience leading at least one project from early design through construction
• Strong technical knowledge of complex building systems and data center infrastructure
• Experience managing AE contracts and specialist consultant procurement
• Bachelor degree in architecture engineering or construction management
