Sr. Learning Experience Designer (Mountain/Central/West Coast) - ILT/VILT at General Assembly

The role

As a Senior Learning Experience Designer, you will design and develop high-quality learning programs for enterprise and technical audiences. You will focus on creating practical, outcome-driven experiences that integrate AI tools and emerging technologies into the modern workplace. This role involves leading the entire design process from discovery to delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end design process for AI and emerging technology learning programs
• Partner with sales and product teams to define client-specific learning outcomes and pathways
• Create instructor-led materials including slides, hands-on labs, simulations, and facilitator guides
• Design practical activities using modern AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot
• Manage project timelines and resources including subject matter experts and external vendors
• Standardize reusable learning components to support a scalable global curriculum library

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of experience in instructional or learning experience design
• Proven ability to create technical and professional training for enterprise-level audiences
• Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools and emerging workplace technologies
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies like ADDIE
• Experience managing stakeholders and subject matter experts through the content development lifecycle
