Consumer Product Designer at Base Power Company

The role

Base is seeking a Product Designer to shape how customers discover and interact with their next-generation power company across web and mobile platforms. You will work cross-functionally to create a cohesive user journey that simplifies complex energy concepts into approachable experiences.

What you'll do

• Evolve the top-of-funnel experience to improve how people discover and enroll
• Shape and build new features from concept through launch for the website and app
• Use product metrics and enrollment data to guide design decisions and identify friction
• Monitor post-launch performance to ensure design solutions meet established goals
• Prototype ideas using AI and code to turn concepts into working experiences
• Collaborate with the design team to evolve and maintain the company design system

What you'll bring

• Two to four years of product design experience focusing on consumer products
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft and thoughtful interaction design
• Proficiency in using Figma and contributing to comprehensive design systems
• Comfort analyzing product metrics and user behavior to inform design choices
• Experience using AI and emerging tools to prototype and build beyond traditional workflows
