We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with about 190 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped develop a number of AAA titles and we launched the highly anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
We have grown quite a bit over the last few years, but we still embrace the same values that we started with. We want to build the best first person co-op games together, in an approachable, fun and passion-driven way.
The role
We want to engage and reward players who continue to play for a long time. As a Junior Game Designer, you will work with our game’s reward and itemization systems to create and iterate on content. You’ll collaborate with senior designers and feature teams to ensure we provide an entertaining experience for our players.
This is a 12-month temporary position with a possibility of becoming permanent.
What you'll do
Implement new items in engine (UE5)
Iterate on the systems for currency, resources, items, and other economic elements
Collaborate with senior designers to provide the best looting experience
Ensure a healthy balance of different intended playstyles and allow players to get creative with their loadout
Required qualifications
At least 1 year of professional experience in game design, preferably in a multiplayer setting
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Unreal Engine 5 experience
Bonus qualifications
Previous experience with character progression

We have a policy of working 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day optional to work from home. The onboarding is being done fully in the office.
