Designer - Accessories at Reitmans (Canada) Ltée/Ltd

The role

RW&CO. is seeking an Accessories Designer to create and develop men's and women's collections, including handbags and leather goods. Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will help shape the brand's evolving aesthetic with a focus on premium quality and craftsmanship.

What you'll do

• Create and develop men's and women's accessories collections with a focus on style and quality
• Develop detailed sketches and technical packages to guide products from concept to production
• Research market trends and materials to ensure collections remain relevant and distinctive
• Collaborate with the Buying team and vendors throughout the development and sampling process
• Utilize AI-powered creative tools to enhance design processes and explore new perspectives
• Ensure accessories complement apparel assortments and reflect a cohesive brand vision

What you'll bring

• Professional experience in fashion or accessories design with a focus on leather goods
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of product development and construction techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English
• Creative mindset with a refined eye for materials and craftsmanship
