UX Design Engineer, Content Tooling at DoorDash

The role

This full-stack UX Design Engineer role serves as the technical backbone for the global Content Design organization at DoorDash. You will build platforms, tooling, and machine learning systems that streamline localized product content across multiple brands. The position sits at the intersection of design and engineering to embed LLM-driven workflows into product experiences.

What you'll do

• Develop internal tools for generating and managing product content at scale
• Integrate large language models into everyday product workflows for content iteration
• Build frontend experiences using React and modern TypeScript frameworks
• Implement backend services and APIs to support automation and experimentation
• Embed content tools into A/B testing platforms for rapid deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and reliability

What you'll bring

• Five to eight years of experience building complex internal tools or platforms
• Expertise in frontend engineering with React and TypeScript
• Solid experience in backend development and API design
• History of integrating with experimentation platforms and infrastructure systems
• Strong ability to translate design workflows into scalable software products
