The role

Datadog is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead research initiatives for the Agent Console and other emerging product areas within Core Pillars. This high-autonomy role involves building a durable research program to help teams understand the performance and business value of AI agents.

What you'll do

• Build and own an ongoing research program across Core Pillars starting with Agent Console
• Partner with Product and Engineering to conduct focused mixed-methods research
• Develop a deep understanding of AI agents and complex technical workflows
• Influence product strategy and design through evidence-based points of view
• Advance research practices by implementing AI-assisted workflows and behavioral data
• Enable partners to conduct focused research and build reusable knowledge

What you'll bring

• Proven ability to independently own a research portfolio from identification to execution
• Deep qualitative research skills combined with experience in product telemetry and surveys
• Strong track record of connecting research findings to product decisions and business outcomes
• Experience using AI tools to improve the speed and quality of research work
• Ability to quickly master complex technical domains and engage with enterprise users
