Senior Product Designer at cohere

The role

Cohere is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of modeling products by designing intuitive experiences for complex AI workflows. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and user needs, owning the end-to-end design process for critical product areas.

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end design process to improve user experience and product impact
• Create user-friendly interfaces that balance technical complexity with accessibility
• Work closely with product managers and engineers throughout the development lifecycle
• Perform user research to translate insights into actionable design improvements
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems and patterns across the platform
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure high-fidelity implementation of designs

What you'll bring

• At least four years of experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio
• Deep knowledge of AI concepts and multi-step agentic workflows
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and navigate technical constraints
• Mastery of Figma and experience building scalable design patterns
• Excellent communication skills for documenting decisions and articulating design rationale
