Principal Product Designer – LATAM at Wise

The role

This Principal Product Designer role is the first design hire for the LATAM squad based in Sao Paulo. You will help grow market share by shipping region-specific features while maintaining global brand standards. You will report to the Design Director for Regional and shape the product experience for millions of users.

What you'll do

• Partner with product teams to discover and address customer needs.
• Deliver high-quality design work across the entire customer journey.
• Communicate design rationale through clear and compelling storytelling.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to drive product outcomes.
• Balance global systems thinking with specific local market insights.
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing to ship new features.

• At least ten years of experience in multidisciplinary product design.
• Expert knowledge of Figma and curiosity about AI tooling.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful and well-crafted work.
• Ability to connect global design patterns with local innovations.
• Strong communication skills to advocate for design-led strategies.
