The role

The Forward Deployed Engineer sits at the core of enterprise transformation engagements to redesign workflows and drive technology adoption. This consultative role involves conducting organizational diagnostics and building AI-powered proofs of concept to demonstrate real-world value. You will embed directly with client teams to bridge the gap between engineering and design.

What you'll do

• Map end-to-end workflows to diagnose root causes of operational friction
• Redesign target-state operations to accelerate throughput using AI
• Design comprehensive operating models including organizational structure and governance
• Build functional AI-powered prototypes using LLM APIs and low-code environments
• Establish performance baselines and measurement frameworks to track improvement
• Support the rollout of new tools through process design and change management

What you'll bring

• Five to ten years of experience in management consulting or enterprise technology
• Expertise in organizational design or operating model transformation
• Hands-on experience building functional AI-powered workflows and prototypes
• Ability to work autonomously to ship solutions without a dedicated engineering team
• Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders through evidence-based arguments
