Senior Manager, Product Design at Compass

Role Overview

Compass is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead the product design team focused on the end-to-end consumer journey across web and mobile platforms. You will serve as a strategic partner to Engineering and Product leaders while mentoring designers and aligning with executive leadership on design strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design vision for consumer touchpoints across web and native mobile apps
• Drive continuous alignment with senior leadership and executive stakeholders
• Manage project resourcing and track delivery milestones for design workstreams
• Coach and mentor a team of product designers to support career growth
• Champion high standards for design craft and interaction polish
• Partner with cross-functional leads to align roadmaps and resolve dependencies

Requirements Snapshot

• Eight or more years of product design experience with significant management history
• Proven success leading design for high-traffic consumer products on web and mobile
• Deep fluency in iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design
• Strong ability to communicate design vision and strategy to executive leadership
• Experience using qualitative research and quantitative data to inform design decisions
