Staff Product Designer at Carwow

The role

This is a senior individual-contributor role focused on shaping high-impact marketplace experiences at Carwow. You will partner with leadership to drive design strategy while integrating AI-native workflows into the product development process.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end design for major marketplace problem spaces from discovery to iteration
• Create rapid prototypes using AI tools to test experiences with users frequently
• Collaborate closely with engineers using AI-assisted workflows to bridge design and code
• Identify strategic opportunities and influence product direction using evidence-based insights
• Mentor other designers and raise the overall craft bar through regular critique
• Develop and share AI-native techniques and reusable prompts across the design team

What you'll bring

• Over seven years of experience leading complex design work for marketplace products
• Proven expertise in designing for native mobile applications
• Advanced fluency in using AI design and prototyping tools like Claude
• Ability to transform ambiguous problem statements into polished production-ready designs
• Strong communication skills to align senior stakeholders and tell compelling product stories
