Project Engineer - EHV Specification & Design at Egis Group

The role

As a Project Engineer, you will develop future electricity network investment projects across the EHV distribution system. You will support front-end engineering and planning to ensure schemes are technically robust and ready for successful delivery.

What you'll do

• Support the development of EHV infrastructure projects from concept to delivery-ready status
• Undertake feasibility studies and engineering assessments for network reinforcement
• Develop technical specifications for substation plant replacement and customer connections
• Produce project scopes and cost estimates for various voltage levels
• Assess technical risks and constraints during the project development phase
• Coordinate engineering surveys and stakeholder inputs to support project definition

What you'll bring

• Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience delivering projects within electricity transmission and distribution networks
• Knowledge of substation plant and equipment operating from 11kV to 132kV
• Understanding of CDM requirements and engineering governance processes
• Experience managing project costs and stakeholder interfaces
