The role

The Lead Design Manager oversees the design management process for large-scale real estate and hospitality developments from concept through construction. This role serves as the primary interface between clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives and quality standards are met.

What you'll do

• Lead the design process across all project phases from concept to construction delivery
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and specialist consultants
• Review design deliverables to ensure compliance with budgets, regulations, and quality standards
• Chair design coordination meetings and manage follow-up actions and decisions
• Oversee design integration between disciplines to minimize clashes and construction risks
• Manage design approval processes with clients, authorities, and regulatory bodies

What you'll bring

• Degree in Construction Management or a related technical discipline
• Fifteen to twenty years of progressive experience in design management
• Proven track record delivering large-scale hospitality projects in the UAE or GCC
• Strong understanding of authority approval processes and project delivery frameworks
• Proficiency in industry software including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms
