The role

As a Combat Game Designer at Ubisoft Bordeaux, you will design and refine combat systems that support the game’s creative direction and intended player experience. You will work with multidisciplinary teams from concept to release to implement high-quality features and assets.

What you'll do

• Design combat systems and mechanics including 3C and archetypes
• Model and tune game systems and rewards to support engagement
• Develop prototypes to test and refine systems before production
• Document combat systems and communicate choices to the team
• Write design documents explaining how systems support the vision
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to implement features and assets
