Assistant Designer, Accessories at Tecovas

The role

Tecovas is seeking an Assistant Designer for Accessories to support the creative process across categories like bags, belts, and small leather goods. Reporting to the Design Director, this Austin-based role involves researching trends and creating technical drawings to shape the brand's aesthetic.

What you'll do

• Translate seasonal direction and market research into new design concepts
• Design and develop accessories including bags belts and small leather goods
• Create detailed technical drawings and product specifications for manufacturers
• Maintain organized design files and product documentation within PLM systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet seasonal production deadlines
• Travel internationally to factories and tradeshows to support product development

What you'll bring

• Bachelors degree in Design or equivalent professional design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for technical drawings and CADs
• Strong hand-sketching skills and attention to craftsmanship details
• Experience creating accurate technical packs with material and hardware specifications
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
