The role

Connect Plus Services is seeking a Street Lighting Design Engineer to join the M25 DBFO project team. The role involves managing design projects from concept to completion while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and the supply chain.

What you'll do

• Plan organize and oversee design projects from concept to completion
• Undertake lighting designs using Lighting Reality or similar software
• Perform electrical designs using associated engineering software
• Manage external consultants and review their design outputs for accuracy
• Resolve engineering issues both on site and with design teams
• Create and manage trackers for engineering and design deliverables

What you'll bring

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience working on highway lighting projects
• Familiarity with DMRB MCHW and British and European standards
• Membership in a professional body or working towards qualification
• Proficiency in lighting and electrical design software
