Your Mission
As a UX Designer on our unannounced game, you are not just designing interfaces. You are shaping the player experience of an ambitious new title from Paradox Development Studio, a team with a long track record of building grand strategy games with passionate, dedicated communities. Your work will be felt by millions of players from day one.
You will create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of new interfaces, evaluate and iterate on existing ones, and collaborate closely with game designers, UI artists, sound designers, and programmers to deliver a highly polished product. Crucially, you will also be hands-on in implementation, working directly in the UI pipeline to help bring your designs to life, not just hand them off.
We are in the later stages of development, an exciting phase where designs come to life and the game takes its final shape. You will need to be adaptable and decisive, someone who is energized by seeing their work reach the masses.

Technical Skills
You are expected to work directly in the UI implementation pipeline, iterating on existing UIs in-game to achieve the best possible player experience. Coding knowledge is required to be successful in this role.

Knowledge of XAML is a significant bonus.
Knowledge of C++ is an extra bonus.

Interest in the sci-fi or fantasy genre more broadly, whether in games, books, or film, is a bonus.
Who You Are
You are someone who gets energized by the idea of shipping a great product and seeing players love it. You are collaborative by nature, comfortable brainstorming with designers, artists, and programmers, and you can make motivated decisions quickly when the situation calls for it.
