UX Designer at Mumsnet

The role

The UX Designer will shape the future of Mumsnet by designing useful, engaging, and valuable experiences within the Product team. This role involves solving user problems, spotting new opportunities, and using research, data, and AI tools to deliver impactful solutions for both users and the business.

What you'll do

• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to create solutions meeting user and business goals.
• Explore and validate opportunities using user feedback, analytics, and experimentation.
• Design end-to-end web and mobile experiences from early sketches to production-ready designs.
• Conduct usability testing and research, translating findings into actionable design recommendations.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate design thinking, generate ideas, and focus on problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Engineers to ensure designs are feasible and deliver the intended experience.

What you'll bring

• Possess 3+ years of experience designing digital products with measurable impact.
• Demonstrate a strong ability to translate research into validated design recommendations.
• Have experience across the full design process: discovery, ideation, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
• Maintain a portfolio showcasing problem-solving and value creation for users and business.
• Be confident using Figma and familiar with accessibility and design systems.
