Staff Web Designer at Harvey

The role

The Staff Web Designer joins the Web team to define and elevate the design experience across harvey.ai and all web-facing surfaces. You will own the website design system and lead user research to translate the brand story into high-performing web experiences. This role involves partnering with engineers and stakeholders to shape how the world encounters Harvey.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the website design system including component libraries and governance standards
• Lead the end-to-end design process from concept and research to technical hand-off
• Drive innovation through prototyping and user testing to improve conversion and accessibility
• Mentor junior web designers to raise the collective quality bar of the team
• Present design work and rationale to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate design workflows and explore new interaction paradigms

What you'll bring

• Eight or more years of professional design experience focused on web and digital products
• Portfolio demonstrating mastery of UX interaction design and design system architecture
• Deep expertise in building and governing design systems for multiple teams
• Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma and technical hand-off processes
• Ability to use AI-assisted design workflows in a fast-paced environment
