Key Responsibilities:
Own the design process end-to-end: Lead initiatives from initial discovery, problem definition, and ideation through to polished, high-quality deliveryDrive quality and consistency across rebuy’s established design system, providing thoughtful suggestions for its continuous improvement and evolutionTranslate user research and data into a clear design direction; run qualitative and quantitative tests (including user interviews, usability tests, and surveys) to validate experiences before shippingCollaborate closely with cross-functional squads alongside PMs and engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible, well-understood, and correctly implementedPresent work to stakeholders, articulate design rationale and trade-offs clearly, and iterate constructively based on structured feedbackUtilize A/B testing frameworks and design for experimentation to connect design decisions directly to business goals and user outcomesLeverage AI tools and automation workflows (e.g., Claude, Claude code, Figma Make, Stitch) to accelerate research synthesis, UX copywriting, rapid prototyping, and content generationContribute to a vibrant culture of design quality, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the team, making the work and the people around you better5+ years of relevant experience in Product Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership from problem framing to final pixels. (Note: We want to see your thinking, not just your layout)Figma proficiency, including an advanced understanding of when and how to utilize modern features like Figma MakeStrong visual design skills with an exceptional eye for typography, color, layout, and building scalable system componentsProven ability to deliver high-quality experiences for all screen sizes (responsive design) while keeping accessibility concerns top of mindHighly analytical and research-driven mindset with experience working confidently with modern analytics tools (we use Amplitude) to navigate ambiguity and shape problem definitionsStrong affinity for AI-supported workflows and data-driven design decision-making; active experience using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow is requiredExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with a healthy understanding of technical constraints and the ability to defend design rationale to stakeholdersExperience in E-Commerce, retail platforms, or online shopping UX best practices is a strong plus.Fluent in English; German or another European language is a plus
