Here’s your chance to shape our future together with us! Effective immediately, we’re looking for a Product Designer (all genders) to become part of our Design & Insights Team within Beats & Bytes at our Headquarters in Berlin. It will be a full-time position, initially limited to 2 years, with the possibility of extension, reporting to the VP Product.
Your gig:
As a Product Designer, you will help design an internal tool used by teams across Universal Music Group to plan, manage, and collaborate on music releases You will work closely with product, engineering, research, and senior designers to understand user needs, define problems, and design clear, usable solutions You will be involved across the full design process: mapping workflows, exploring concepts, creating prototypes, testing ideas with users, and preparing high-quality designs for implementation You will actively contribute to our design language ecosystems, helping us create consistent, scalable, and well-crafted product experiences across our platforms You will use AI tools thoughtfully in your design process and help us explore how AI can improve the way we work, design, and build products
We are keen to jam with you if you:
Have 3+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally internal tools, SaaS products, or complex workflows Bring a portfolio that shows strong product thinking, interaction design skills, and well-crafted visual design Are strong in interface design, layout, typography, information architecture, and interaction patterns Have worked with design systems, and know how to use existing components, contribute improvements, and design with consistency and scalability in mind Are interested in AI and want to stay up to date with how AI tools and workflows can support product design, research, and collaboration Feel confident reading, writing, and speaking English, and can communicate efficiently in technical as well as business-related contexts; German skills are a plus and the willingness to learn the language is encouraged
