Job Description

In a nutshell, we’re all about making the world of wine a better place. We fund and source directly from independent winemakers to bring customers better quality wine for a better price. No thirsty middlemen as far as the eye can see.

It’s a different way of doing things, sure. But it works. We’re one of the UK’s favourite wine clubs, shipping over 1 million (!) cases a year to curious wine lovers. And with an ambitious road ahead, we’ve got no plans on plugging the cork on growth.

Our global team (we have offices in the US and Australia, too) is entrepreneurial by nature, obsessive about customer experience and driven by performance. All things that make Naked a great place to grow both personally and professionally. And yes, we like wine. A lot.

It takes a village to be Naked. That’s why we’re always on the lookout for eager talent to join the club. We are now looking for a Senior Growth Product Designer to spearhead our acquisition efforts and mentor our rising design talent.

This role sits at the heart of our engine room. You won't just be "making things look good"- you’ll be the architect of how new customers discover, join, and fall in love with Naked Wines. You’ll lead the design strategy for onboarding and conversion while managing and developing a small team of designers, ensuring we hit our growth targets without losing our soul.

So if you’re keen to help us take the guesswork out of enjoying great wine (that’s what we’re passionate about), there’s a Naked welcome pack with your name on it.

Together, we’ll take Naked Wines to the next level and share our not-so-well-kept secret with the world.

Location & Flexible Working: London Hybrid (1-2 days/week in the London Office)

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the Acquisition Roadmap: Lead the design and optimisation of high-traffic landing pages, sign-up flows, and "top-of-funnel" experiences.
  • Line Management: Manage, mentor, and coach 1-2 product designers, fostering a culture of high performance, rapid experimentation, and professional growth.
  • Experimental Strategy: Own the end-to-end CRO process - from high-level hypothesis creation to pixel-perfect execution and post-test analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Growth Marketing, Analytics and Research to turn complex funnel data into intuitive, persuasive user journeys.
  • Build the "Growth Toolkit": Evolve our design system specifically for conversion - optimising for speed, trust-signals and mobile-first performance.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5-8+ years in Product Design, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Growth/Acquisition (e.g., e-commerce, or Subscription models).
  • Management Experience: Proven ability to lead other designers, conduct 1-to-1s, and provide actionable creative direction.
  • The "Growth Mindset": You understand the psychology of conversion (urgency, social proof, friction reduction) and can explain the "why" behind a design using data.
  • A/B Testing Fluency: You’re comfortable in tools like Optimizely, VWO, or similar, and you don’t wait for a PM to tell you what the results mean.
  • Commercial Sharpness: You understand CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and LTV (Lifetime Value) and how design impacts these levers.

You have:

  • Ambition (dream big): Breaking down strategy into clear tasks and contributing to broader team improvement.
  • Judgement (make good decisions): Supporting good decision-making and knowing when to escalate.
  • Discipline (adhere to high standards): Driving execution with clarity and structure; keeping a close eye on progress and adjusting plans when needed.
  • Influence (have a big impact): Motivating others, communicating with intent, and supporting team development.
  • Accountability (take full responsibility): Taking responsibility for team outcomes and fostering a culture of ownership.

And finally you live by our Naked values:

  • You support all stakeholders from the Winemaker, through to the Customer. We are Naked Together
  • You embrace growth, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone to overcome obstacles
  • You always start with our customers and winemakers
  • You keep it simple and are data-led, from the wine itself to the ways of working
  • You do the right thing, holding yourself accountable with honesty and openness

Recruitment Process: Hiring Manager Interview (30 mins) > Task & Task Presentation (60 mins) > Final Interview (45 mins)
