G2 Esports is looking for a Senior Designer Consumer Products (m/f/d) to join our Consumer Products team. In this role, you will be responsible for the creative development of our merchandise and consumer product concepts, and help shape the future of our brand identity through innovative design and strong attention to detail. This is a full time opportunity based in Berlin or remote (EU/UK), directly reporting to our Head of Merchandising & Licensing.

Responsibilities:

Owns concept ideation for product and merchandise launches, including seasonal drops and special collaborations, guiding creative direction from initial concept through to final executionLeads trend analysis for upcoming collections, translating market insights into innovative product concepts and creative directionsDrives collection planning and overarching creative strategy for merchandise drops and consumer products, ensuring consistency with brand identity and storytellingOversees technical design across all collections, ensuring production feasibility, product quality, and alignment with defined standards, "including the creation and review of technical packs and product specifications when requiredProvide mentorship and creative direction to a junior designer/freelancer, ensuring consistency with the brand’s creative vision and the accuracy of all technical packsActs as primary point of contact for suppliers on all technical aspects, providing guidance on requirements and resolving production challenges to meet product objectivesEnsures alignment between creative vision, product execution, and commercial goals across all merchandise and consumer product initiativesSupports product launches with the creation and adaptation of visual assets, product mockups, and launch materials in Photoshop and other design tools as needed

5+ years of experience as a Merchandise, Product, Apparel or Graphic Designer, or in a similar creative roleStrong and outstanding portfolio showcasing experience in merchandise design, apparel graphics, consumer products, or brand-driven product designExcellent understanding of typography, composition, visual storytelling, and brand design principlesStrong ability to translate creative concepts and brand objectives into engaging product designsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and PhotoshopExperience preparing production files and collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, or external production partners is a plusUnderstanding of product development processes, materials, and production constraints is requiredAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detailStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across creative teamsPassion for gaming and esports is a plusFluency in English is mandatory, any other language is a plus
