About The Role

This is a Senior or Staff Product Designer role on a small, focused design team building an AI-powered procurement platform for industrial companies. You will define how agentic AI capabilities surface for non-technical users, shaping patterns that make automation feel trustworthy and genuinely useful. Good design here directly determines whether powerful AI features get adopted and deliver real business value for customers.

What You'll Do

Define how agentic AI capabilities present in the product, from communicating background agent activity to surfacing what the agent discovered. Design interaction patterns where AI and human judgment work together, not in competition. Produce short-horizon vision work (3 to 6 months) as prototypes and tangible artifacts to align and guide the team. Raise product craft and coherence as engineering velocity and feature output scale. Work directly in code for last-mile polish, checking out PRs and refining interactions before they ship. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and procurement domain experts to translate complex workflows into clear, usable experiences.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience as a Senior or Staff Product Designer with a shipped portfolio spanning B2B SaaS, complex workflows, or data-heavy products. Strong, broad capabilities across visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and design systems rather than a single-specialty profile. Practical experience prototyping beyond Figma, including runnable prototypes that communicate intent and behavior. Hands-on use of AI tools such as general-purpose chat assistants and AI-assisted coding tools as part of your daily design, research, and prototyping workflow. Thoughtful opinions about how AI should appear in products, with a focus on trust, transparency, and appropriate levels of automation. Comfort operating with ambiguity and inventing new interaction patterns for novel problems. Startup or high-growth environment experience, or equivalent project complexity. Bonus: experience designing agentic or autonomous AI features, or familiarity with procurement, manufacturing, or industrial supply chain domains.

Location

On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
