Senior Product Designer (FTC) at AKQA

The role

As a Senior Designer at AKQA, you will be embedded within a client team to shape high-quality interactive experiences across digital platforms. You will combine visual craft with strategic thinking to deliver purposeful and cohesive design solutions for global product storytelling. This role is a 6–9 month fixed-term contract requiring onsite collaboration three days per week.

What you'll do

• Create exceptional visual design across web and interactive platforms
• Develop design systems and components that scale across multiple touchpoints
• Translate ideas into sketches and high-fidelity prototypes with speed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design and functionality
• Present design work and articulate the thinking behind decisions
• Partner with senior creatives to evolve the overall design direction

What you'll bring

• Significant experience in visual and interactive design within an agency
• Portfolio demonstrating high craft and attention to detail
• Experience designing for large-scale digital platforms or global brands
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools
• Strong understanding of layout typography motion and interaction principles
