The role

The Senior Design Program Manager drives the end-to-end management of design teams to deliver critical product initiatives for Airbnb’s hosts and guests. This role focuses on scaling design impact through operational excellence and close partnership with cross-functional leadership.

What you'll do

• Partner with design and cross-functional leaders to align on program scope and goals
• Establish operating rhythms including communication cadences and resource planning
• Support the planning and execution of quarterly and annual product launches
• Serve as a bridge between design engineering marketing and business teams
• Anticipate and resolve obstacles while proactively managing risks across teams
• Uphold design standards by refining workflows and driving consistent tool adoption

What you'll bring

• At least 7 years of experience in program or product management
• Proven track record of delivering design initiatives in large digital organizations
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and structure solutions from conception to launch
• Strong leadership skills in mediation negotiation and stakeholder influence
• Experience establishing scalable processes and systems in fast-paced environments
