Senior Design Engineer at JUUL

The role

The Sr. Design Engineer joins the Product Design team to develop innovative and reliable mechanical solutions for new and existing products. This hands-on role involves driving validation through prototyping and collaborating across functions to meet high-visibility project goals.

What you'll do

• Design and validate mechanical components and assemblies through daily benchtop prototyping
• Use data analytics to derive insights and improve existing product algorithms
• Lead complex system experiments across electrical mechanical and software disciplines
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for build and reliability issues
• Conduct rapid feasibility studies to optimize mechanical robustness cost and schedule
• Support manufacturing builds by working directly with contract partners and traveling to sites

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of mechanical engineering experience in product design or manufacturing
• Expertise in 3D MCAD software such as Solidworks or Onshape
• Proficiency in designing consumer products using plastic molding and metal fabrication processes
• Experience integrating electro-mechanical components like batteries and flex circuits
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
