Senior Product Design Engineer at Bosch Group

Job Description

• This role involves the creative development and enhancement of linear systems and actuators tailored to market demands.
• The responsibilities include developing 3D solutions for products and testing equipment, designing variants by modifying existing elements, and evaluating design solutions based on functional, material, and economic aspects.
• The position requires carrying out internal and external product projects in line with specifications, costs, and timelines, while also optimizing existing products and developing new ones.
• Key duties involve planning and managing R&D projects, defining and conducting release tests to ensure quality, and creating final documentation.
• The role is also responsible for calculations, creating digital twins for product configurators, and collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or a comparable qualification.
• Good CAD skills (preferably Creo), SAP skills, and good knowledge of MS Office products.
• Initial experience in project management and the product development process (PEP), as well as knowledge of development methodologies (DRBFM, FMEA, etc.) are advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, a high degree of initiative, creativity and analytical thinking, goaloriented and methodical work style. 
• Advanced English level, German is an advantage.
