Brand Designer – Cottagecore Stamp Kit at Twine

This role focuses on designing a curated line of cottagecore wallpaper stamp kits for DIY home improvement enthusiasts. The designer will create botanical and vintage-floral stamp patterns suitable for manufacturing as physical rubber or foam stamps, ensuring the designs are beginner-friendly and deliver professional-looking results. The project requires careful consideration of line weight, negative space, two-piece registration for layered printing, and seamless repeat patterns for wall applications. In addition to pattern design, the role involves refining a logo from three initial concepts, developing a cohesive brand color palette, and designing packaging that is visually appealing for social media and unboxing experiences. The initial color palette includes dusty sage, muted terracotta, faded rose, antique cream, and deep olive. Visual references and inspiration boards are provided, and the project must be completed by the end of October.

Deliverables

Design multiple botanical and vintage-floral stamp motifs for themed kits, optimized for physical production and wall application. Ensure all patterns account for line weight, negative space, and two-piece registration for layered printing. Develop seamless repeat patterns suitable for large wall surfaces. Refine an existing logo from three rough directions to a final, production-ready version. Create a cohesive brand color palette aligned with the cottagecore aesthetic. Design packaging boxes that enhance the unboxing experience and are optimized for social media presentation. Collaborate using provided visual references and mood boards. Deliver all final assets in production-ready formats by the specified deadline.

Requirements

Proven experience in brand and packaging design, preferably for home décor or lifestyle products. Strong portfolio showcasing botanical illustration, vintage-inspired motifs, and pattern design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent design software. Understanding of print production processes, especially for rubber or foam stamps. Ability to design for seamless pattern repeats and layered printing techniques. Experience developing brand color palettes and refining logos. Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to interpret visual references. Excellent communication skills and ability to meet project deadlines. Availability to deliver the project by the end of October.
