Design Manager - Special Projects at Polène Paris

The role

Polène is seeking a Design Manager for Special Projects to lead the creation and development of exceptional products such as charms, upcycling initiatives, and gifts. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will manage a team of two designers while overseeing the entire creative process from concept to technical execution.

What you'll do

• Lead the creation of all special projects including collaborative products and upcycling initiatives
• Manage and supervise a team of two designers within the Studio
• Drive the creative process for exceptional objects used in communication campaigns
• Oversee product development in coordination with internal prototyping workshops
• Ensure technical specification sheets are completed for seamless information transfer
• Monitor all delivery milestones to guarantee successful project execution

What you'll bring

• At least five years of experience in object or accessory design
• Proven leadership experience managing or supervising a creative team
• Expertise in leathercraft combined with knowledge of multi-materials
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Fluent English communication skills with French or Spanish proficiency preferred
