The role

The Design Manager oversees and coordinates design activities for complex industrial and construction projects throughout their lifecycle. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure design packages align with project objectives and construction needs.

What you'll do

• Coordinate design activities for complex industrial and construction projects
• Manage multidisciplinary designers consultants contractors and specialist suppliers
• Oversee design deliverables schedules reviews and technical queries
• Handle design interfaces and change management processes
• Ensure alignment with permitting processes and construction requirements
• Drive actions and decisions to maintain project programme requirements

What you'll bring

• University degree in Engineering Architecture or Construction Management
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in design management
• High proficiency in both English and Portuguese at C1 level
• Deep knowledge of the Portuguese market and local regulations
• Strong understanding of BIM-based coordination and multidisciplinary design
