Design isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. At & Other Stories, you’ll create collections that set trends and tell stories. From first sketch to final garment, your vision will shape the future of fashion and inspire a global audience. 

As a Junior Designer, you will support the Senior Designer to transform creative concepts into outstanding products that align with our brand identity and meet customer expectations. You’ll combine design expertise with technical knowledge to deliver collections that are both innovative and commercially relevant. 

Your Responsibilities: 

What you will do… 

  • Support the Senior Designer in developing products across light woven for seasonal collections. 
  • Translate trends into key silhouettes, fabrics, colours, and details. 
  • Participate in fittings and ensure garments meet our high standards of fit and design. 
  • Conduct ongoing research and analysis of fashion trends, customer behaviour, and market movements. 
  • Take ownership of timelines and drive the design process forward with initiative and creativity 
  • Contribute to assortment creation and curation, ensuring collections are commercially viable and aligned with growth and profitability goals. 
  • Collaborate closely with design leads, print designer, buyer, and production teams to deliver cohesive collections. 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

 You will collaborate with the assortment team, including the Senior Designer, Junior Buyer, Senior Buyer and Pattern Maker. 

Qualifications

We are looking for people with… 

  • Some experience in fashion design, and experience from light woven with women’s wear is considered a strong advantage. 
  • Solid knowledge of garment construction, components, and materials. 
  • Understanding of product development and assortment creation. 
  • Expertise in trend forecasting, fashion analysis, and retail dynamics. 
  • Design intelligence and aesthetic sensibility. 
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AI Style Gen). 
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Additional Information

This is a full-time permanent contract based at our Head Office in Stockholm.

We value collaboration and believe that great ideas thrive when we work closely together. Therefore, this role is primarily office-based, with four days per week at the office to foster teamwork and engagement. One day per week, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely.
