ITS / Technology Design Engineer at Egis Group

The role

This role involves supporting ITS and technology design activities for the M25 network within the Connect Plus Services joint venture. Working under senior guidance, the engineer will assist in developing and reviewing design solutions for various roadside technology assets.

What you'll do

• Assist in preparing designs for assets like CCTV, signals, and VMS.
• Produce technical drawings, documents, and detailed reports.
• Support senior engineers during design reviews and feasibility assessments.
• Compile design briefs and technical documentation for suppliers.
• Monitor project progress against established programmes and budgets.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to support design development.

What you'll bring

• Degree or vocational qualification in a relevant engineering field.
• Basic understanding of ITS technology systems and principles.
• Awareness of engineering standards such as DMRB and MCHW.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
