Role: Differential Design Lead for Transmission (e-Axle) projectsJob Description: Lead differential design for e-Axle transmission projects, including acquisition, customer, and innovation projects, ensuring “ON Spec, ON Time, ON Cost” Evaluate OEM’s Differential Requirement & develop Cost & Performance optimal solution Build Supplier Technical Order Specification considering Global (IN,CN, ROW) requirements Collaborate with Purchasing, Supplier, Quality teams to realize Build to Specification Differential from Global Market Suppliers Perform design verification of Supplier Proposal & Own Bevel Gear Macro, Micro, Differential Housing, Center Bolt, Shims, Differential Lubrication, Differential Seizure Achieve Differential NVH targets through Differential stiffness optimization Act as differential interface owner with Transmission Stakeholder & Customer Ensure appropriate design measures and technical risk assessments aligned with project premises, especially for validation failures Review and release 3D models and 2D drawings created in NX, ensuring compliance with design standards and Bosch guidelines. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve differential design guidelines, standards, and best practices. Mentor and guide external designers and ensure delivery targets for Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, including customers, project leads, transmission leads, and FEA simulation teams. Required Skills:Tools / Software Skills: KISSsoft MASTA HyGears (Optional), BECAL(Optional) UG-NX Teamcenter Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of differential design and development for transmission systems. Proven experience in optimizing macro and micro geometry, seizure resistance, backlash, lubrication, and customer driveshaft interfaces.Methodology & Soft Skills: Good working knowledge of FMEA, DRBFM, and systematic problem-solving methodologies. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Competency in technical risk management.
