DGM/GM - Railway Design at ASSYSTEM

The role

The Railway Design Head leads all design functions for railway infrastructure projects to ensure high-quality and cost-effective engineering solutions. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and coordination with multidisciplinary stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Lead design and engineering for track, alignment, and station infrastructure
• Oversee coordination between civil, structural, signaling, and electrical design teams
• Ensure all designs comply with international and Indian railway standards
• Manage the review of detailed project reports and technical specifications
• Provide technical guidance for alignment and geometric design activities
• Coordinate with clients and government authorities to ensure project alignment

What you'll bring

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong expertise in railway design standards and engineering codes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRail, and MicroStation
• Experience managing large scale railway or high speed rail projects
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
