Web & Brand Designer - Kyiv Design Hub at Wix

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Web & Brand Designer to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of the entire design process, from concept to completion - designing and building visually appealing, user-friendly web experiences. You'll handle a range of design tasks, collaborate closely with team members to ensure projects align with goals, and contribute innovative visual design solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for a designer who is passionate about web and brand design, thrives in a collaborative setting, has a keen eye for detail, and embraces new trends, tools, and AI without hesitation.

What you'll do

• Lead various design projects from concept to completion, creating design that reaches millions of users every day

• Design and build high-quality websites across our platforms, raising the bar in interactions, layout, and trends - always grounded in user needs and product guidelines

• Develop strong branding concepts and visual languages that feel fresh, cohesive, and intentional

• Create high-quality design assets - typography systems, imagery, motion, and illustration - where every detail is intentional and purposeful

• Conduct deep visual and web research to stay ahead of design trends and set new standards across our products

• Collaborate closely with product, content, and QA teams to ensure designs are not only beautiful but technically excellent - performant, accessible, and responsive

• Contribute to and uphold design quality standards within the team, giving and receiving feedback that elevates everyone's work

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional web and brand design experience in a professional design environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual excellence and technical execution from concept to launch

• Able to mentor junior designers, iterate fast on feedback, and work closely with design colleagues

• Excellent design skills with high-quality branding and visual language creation abilities

• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications, with hands-on experience using AI content generation tools (Claude Design, Figma Weave, Brik, Midjourney, or similar)

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design

• A fast learner - self-motivated, highly independent, detail-oriented, and able to find creative and technical solutions in new environments

• Flexible and cross-functional, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Proficient in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills

• Hands-on experience with Wix or comparable advanced web platforms (Webflow, Framer, etc.) - a plus

• Motion design and After Effects experience - an advantage

• 3D tools (Blender, Cinema 4D) and HTML/CSS knowledge - an advantage
