Job Title: Brand Designer (Digital & Print Campaign Specialist)
Position Type: Freelance Contract (24 to 40 hours/week, dependent on weekly task volume)
Duration: 3 months freelance engagement, via Aquent, starting in September.
Aquent is partnering with a globally recognized leader in smart home technology and consumer electronics hardware. Known for its sleek, user-friendly device ecosystems and highly disruptive consumer-facing marketing campaigns, this organization is currently undergoing a massive centralized brand rollout and an ambitious timeline of international product launches.
Position Summary
We are looking for a freelance Brand Designer / Visual Designer to join our client’s central marketing group. This isn’t just a layout execution job – it’s a critical production seat within a high-velocity studio environment. You will be responsible for taking localized and international campaign briefs and converting them into stunning, cohesive digital assets and tangible print collateral that accurately represent the brand’s identity on a global stage.

What You’ll Do
Partner directly with the central marketing team to build out premium digital and print assets supporting major product launches and global activations. Champion design consistency across high-exposure channels, handling ad-hoc creative requests from diverse international business units. Set up technical print production files, multi-city out-of-home (OOH) campaigns, point-of-sale assets, and collateral layouts. Experiment with and implement emerging creative automation software and Gen-AI technology to streamline asset variation modeling.
What You Bring to the Table
Min 4 Years of Proven Design Experience: A rich history of creating brand assets for (preferably) major tech brands, household name hardware products, or leading consumer accounts at a top-tier creative agency. A True Hybrid Portfolio: Your book must show high-end digital design capabilities side-by-side with hard, highly technical print production work (OOH campaigns, packaging mechanicals, pre-press setups). The Tools of the Trade: Master-level skill in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma. Modern Toolset Awareness: Strong exposure to, or deep practical curiosity about, Generative AI suites (Midjourney, etc.) and ad-automation workflow tools (Smartly, Celtra) is highly sought after. The Right Mindset: You are collaborative, highly adaptable to variable weekly hourly allocations (ranging between 24 and 40 hours depending on project pipeline), and eager to collaborate on-site at a cutting-edge regional office hub.
