Brand Social Creative (Motion & Design)

Aquent is proud to partner with a pioneering company at the forefront of innovative technology solutions, dedicated to enhancing everyday living through smart, connected experiences. This is an opportunity to significantly impact how we engage with our audience, bringing a fresh, social-first perspective to our global brand presence.

We are looking for a skilled, mid-to-senior digital creative to join our client’s in-house team on a freelance basis. In this role, you will be the primary go-to creative for our smart-home product portfolio, focusing heavily on executing paid social, organic social, and user-generated content (UGC) styles, alongside localized marketing content. This position is ideal for a studio-based designer and editor who excels at co-opting existing brand materials and transforming them into high-performing, social-first assets. We are looking for a “creative,” not a “creator” – your strength lies in the technical craft of design, motion, and editing software, rather than out on location shooting raw footage.

This is temporary Freelance position for 3 months (initially), offering €50,- per hour. Onsite presence in Amsterdam office is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Create social-first product marketing content and executions for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and wider digital distribution. Develop compelling social assets for sales promotions, brand activations, and business-as-usual (BAU) campaigns. Deliver mid-to-high end-to-end video production, managing your own editing and sound design within a fast-paced studio pipeline. Leverage generative AI tools to rapidly produce storyboards and scale content volumes efficiently. Contribute a distinctively social-first viewpoint to multi-market campaign localizations and activations. Stay at the absolute forefront of social media trends, aesthetics, and platform developments, integrating them directly into daily design outputs.

Requirements for Success

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience executing brand social media creative and activations, either in-house or within a fast-paced agency environment. Technical Software Skills: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent motion and design suites). Platform Expertise: Deep, expert knowledge of social-first platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram formats, layout constraints, and best practices. AI Literacy: Highly literate in Generative AI tools with a proven ability to integrate AI workflows into asset production and storyboarding. Craft Skills: Exceptional motion design, video editing, and sound design capabilities, with a strong eye for typography, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
