You will experience firsthand how design shapes a major Dutch brand with millions of customers. You will see up close how design operates at scale and learn from an award-winning team. Through mentorship, you develop your skills in design evaluation, strategic thinking and communication. Your work matters here, as your input directly improves customer experiences.

What you will do:

  • Observe and learn from the team’s design disciplines, UX, service design and visual design
  • Review customer journeys across app, web and service flows
  • Test selected flows from an experience-quality perspective
  • Identify usability, consistency and emotional-experience opportunities
  • Build a clear evaluation and a set of actionable recommendations
  • Present your findings back to KPN stakeholders

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a creative, curious and self-directed mindset and a strong, critical and human-centred eye for experience quality. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following: 

  • Currently studying Digital Design (or a closely related programme)
  • Comfortable analysing and testing flows across app, web and service
  • Confident communicating and presenting to stakeholders
  • Able to translate observations into clear, structured, actionable recommendations
  • Working proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus, not a requirement)
  • You reside in the Netherlands
  • You are available for at least 32 hours per week starting in September 2026, for a minimum of 5 months.
