Design Technologist at Hi Marley

Role Overview

Hi Marley is seeking a Design Technologist to shape platform experiences for their Network and Core Services teams. This role combines strong interaction and visual design skills with a focus on complex configuration and data-heavy interfaces. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to bring designs to life through coded prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design platform features from problem framing through final user flows and interaction states
• Create intuitive admin and self-configuration experiences for settings and permissions
• Develop clear data-heavy interfaces including tables filters and system dashboards
• Build and test ideas within a coded prototype environment to guide engineering
• Contribute to the design system by identifying and documenting reusable patterns
• Conduct usability tests with carrier admins and internal teams to iterate on designs

Requirements Snapshot

• At least three years of experience in product or interaction design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design craft and visual design skills
• Proficiency in Figma and experience working within established design systems
• Knowledge of accessibility basics including keyboard navigation and contrast standards
• Genuine curiosity about AI technologies and their responsible application in design
