Product Engineer, Frontend & Design at hud

Role Overview

HUD is seeking a Design Engineer to create and build interfaces for their RL training data and AI agent evaluation platform. You will bridge the gap between complex technical workflows and user-friendly experiences to help humans interact with increasingly capable AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build platform interfaces from early concepts to shipped products
• Translate complex RL and evaluation workflows into actionable tools
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to implement technical features
• Engage directly with users to identify struggles and improve product usability
• Develop interaction patterns while maintaining high visual quality standards
• Make agent runs and reward signals understandable for diverse user groups
