Job Description

  • Defining and evolving the live products roadmaps in alignment with the Creative Director and Development Director.
  • Translating high-level vision/goals into actionable content beats (events, updates, features).
  • Ensuring GaaS content feels cohesive with the core fantasy and player expectations.
  • Designing engaging live content loops (seasonal arcs, events, limited-time modes) that are:
    • High in perceived value for players
    • Low-to-medium in production cost (reuse, remix, systemic design)
    • Systemic and reusable to maximize output efficiency
    • Leveraging existing assets and mechanics wherever possible
  • Identifying “smart content” opportunities that balance novelty, sustainability, and cost.
  • Aligning monetization with gameplay loops, ensuring player value.
  • Setting success metrics, analyzing performance, and iterating based on data and player behavior.
  • Aligning cross-functional teams (design, art, narrative, tech, marketing) around creative intent.
  • Reporting to Creative Director, Development Director and leadership on live performance, player sentiment, risks and opportunities; present clear recommendations.
  • Monitoring player sentiment, community feedback, and market trends to inform decisions.
  • Leading, mentoring, and challenging the team—ensuring high standards, pragmatism, and player-first execution.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading live service (GaaS) development on a shipped AAA title.
  • Strong track record of owning or shaping product vision, roadmap, and live content strategy.
  • Deep expertise in systemic game design, player motivation, and long-term engagement loops.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact content using scalable, cost-efficient approaches.
  • Strong data literacy—comfortable defining KPIs and driving decisions from live performance metrics.
  • Experience designing or closely collaborating on player-first monetization systems.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills across design, art, tech, narrative, and product.
  • Ability to critically evaluate ideas and make pragmatic trade-offs (scope, cost, impact).
  • Understanding of current live service trends in open world games.
  • Very good command of English.
