Product & Content Designer at Wix

Job Description

A unique team of designers who approach Wix’s products from design, content and product perspectives. Working closely with PMs, engineers, UX’s, and other designers, the team uncovers real user needs, explores solutions with AI and emerging technologies, and delivers scalable solutions to real design and product issues. 

• Apply your expertise in visual design, from brand identity to design systems, to influence how website content is structured and presented.
• Validate team concepts by creating design assets, running product research, and testing new design approaches to assess viability.
• Create design and content frameworks and guidelines that shape our product strategy and creative approach, and enable other teams to implement templates, components, and content patterns across our platforms.

At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Our work model is fully in person, with 5 days a week from our office. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in design systems, product design or graphic design
• A diverse portfolio highlighting expertise in creating and refining digital experiences, from websites to landing pages
• Exceptional graphic and visual design abilities, using typography, layout, and composition to deliver impactful visuals
• Understanding of digital and web design principles, and both historical and contemporary design.
• Expertise in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Strong understanding of usability testing, concept validation, and design
• evaluation methods
• Experience with design research methodologies with the ability to distil complex research into practical design frameworks
• Experience with AI model evaluation, and optimization.

We are part of Wix’s Design Guild, a multidisciplinary in-house design studio of over 300 designers, and we belong to the Editor Cluster. Our group looks at the editor’s AI-powered experiences from both a design and a content perspective. We work with cutting-edge LLMs and generative models to shape how millions of users create professional websites with ease.
